SALMON AND AVOCADO SANDWICH
Sometimes Sunday brunch at home is the very best.
As you might know, I’ve been out to find the region’s best brunch spots and have found a number of great places so far (this one’s my favourite for the time being). But as the weather has started to cool down and my weekend work-load started picking up, brunch at home is so tempting.
If you don’t fancy whipping up a batch of pancakes or French toast, a good old sandwich will do just the trick and take just a few minutes to make. Here’s my new favourite combination inspired by @cleanfoxx.
All you need for this yummy sandwich is: sliced rye bread or pumpernickel, smoked salmon, 1/2 an avocado, alfalfa sprouts, horseradish sauce and salt & pepper to season.
For those of your in Switzerland, I used this Thomy horseradish and it brought a good kick to the sandwich.
But if you’re not into horseradish, you could swap it for fresh goat’s cheese.
Then all that’s left to do is layer up your ingredients up and tuck in!
We just had this as a Sunday brunch alternative and it was deeeelish!
I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I’ll be back with more brunch spots in the region soon! xS
