IMG_4929Sometimes Sunday brunch at home is the very best.

As you might know, I’ve been out to find the region’s best brunch spots and have found a number  of great places so far (this one’s my favourite for the time being). But as the weather has started to cool down and my weekend work-load started picking up, brunch at home is so tempting.

If you don’t fancy whipping up a batch of pancakes  or French toast, a good old sandwich will do just the trick and take just a few minutes to make. Here’s my new favourite combination inspired by @cleanfoxx.

All you need for this yummy sandwich is: sliced rye bread or pumpernickel, smoked salmon, 1/2 an avocado, alfalfa sprouts, horseradish sauce and salt & pepper to season.

IMG_4880For those of your in Switzerland, I used this Thomy horseradish and it brought a good kick to the sandwich.

But if you’re not into horseradish, you could swap it for fresh goat’s cheese.

IMG_4917I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I’ll be back with more brunch spots in the region soon! xS
