HEALTHY BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
I’m so excited to be teaming up with Nespresso today to celebrate the launch of their new Essenza Mini machine which came out this week! This is their smallest machine ever and it’s just the cutest. I got it in dark grey but they’ve got a whole selection of colours to fit different interiors.
As you may have noticed, I moved out of my apartment a few months ago which is why my last videos and posts have been filmed and shot in a different setting. I wanted to take a second to thank you to all of your who wrote to me being concerned and checking in.
You all know how important home is to me (it is after all the whole focus of my blog) so it’s been a bit strange but I have been living in a temporary furnished apartment for a little while now until I find a new place. The kitchen where I am is pretty small so it’s been nice having a small machine that doesn’t take up too much space and that I know will be easy to take with me when I move into the next place.
To celebrate the machine launch, I thought it’d be fun to share my favourite breakfast smoothie recipe that I’ve been making almost every morning for months now.
Banana, almond butter and cacao nib smoothie, makes 1
- 1 espresso, cooled
- 120g frozen sliced banana
- 250ml almond milk
- 2 tablespoons rolled wholemeal oats
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
Put all of the ingredients into your nutribullet and blend up until smooth.
It’s pretty much as easy as it gets when it comes to breakfast but it’s so yummy and feels like quite a treat even though everything in here is really healthy.
