2016 READER SURVEY RESULTS!
In January, I held a reader survey and I was blown away by how many responses I got! I didn’t really know what to expect but I knew I wanted to hear from you and hear about what you wanted to see more or less of over here on the blog. Thank you ever so much to everyone who took the time to reply!
I thought it would be fun to share the responses with you and tell you a little more about what direction I’ll be taking this year.

Let’s jump right in! Literally.
Awful pun, I know. I’m sorry.
Kicking off with the most important question…
I think I’d put myself down as a sweet person normally, but I’ve been enjoying creating savoury recipes recently. You’re bound to keep on seeing a good mix of both though and I’ve been loving making these short videos over on my Facebook page.
How do you find out about new blog posts?
Most of you follow along on Instagram and Facebook to find out about new posts. Very few of you use Bloglovin which surprised me as it’s by far my favourite way to follow blogs I love! It’s an app & webapp and whenever a new post is added on a blog you have chosen to follow, it’s added to your feed.
What are your favourite kind of posts?
What other blogs do you read?
I LOVED this question because I discovered some awesome blogs and that’s always fun! Here are some that came up a few times: The Jungalow, Cupcakes and Cashmere, Garance Doré, The Man Repeller, The Londoner.
Great picks! They are some of my personal favourites, too.
Would you like to see more videos?
Almost all of you said you wanted to see more videos, specifically DIY and food videos. You’ll be happy to know, I’m working on keeping a straight face in front of the camera and you can subscribe to my Youtube channel already for guaranteed embarrassment to come very soon!
Who are your favourite Youtubers?
How can I improve the blog?
I was most curious to know the answer to this question and I’m really touched. Above all, you want me to share more personal insights. I’m going to be using my lifestyle posts and Youtube channel to do so and you’ll have to let me know if I’m going down the right path.
I’m also aiming to post three times a week to get more content up here.
But for the time being, here’s a big cheesy smile from me because all the responses and encouragement in the comment section have left a ear-to-ear grin on my face.
There are lots of exciting things to come!
